Dress Code

At all times, whether on the course or in the clubhouse, members, their guests and other visitors should dress smartly.

On The Course

Ladies and Gentlemen shall wear golf shoes, sleeved shirts with collar or polo neck.  Purpose made collarless golf shirts are allowed.  Shirts must be tucked in.  Tailored shorts of any length with sports socks of any length or colour are also allowed.  

The following are Not permitted on the Course:-
  • Denim jeans
  • Track suits, football or rugby shirts
  • Shorts other than tailored shorts
  • Any shoe other than a golf shoe

Club Representation

It is preferred that all members shall wear a club shirt or club shirt and club jumper in club colours when representing the club in matches or competitions.

Discipline

The Secretary, Professional, House Manager, Committee Members and Club Members are asked to draw these rules to the attention of those persons  who are unsuitably dressed. Further action may be taken by the Committee for transgressions.

In the Clubhouse

Ladies and Gentlemen shall wear smart casual wear or golf attire as listed. If a specific dress code is required for functions, events or matches in the clubhouse or dining room, it will be determined by the function/event organiser.

The following are not permitted in the Clubhouse:-
  • Stone washed, faded or distressed denim
  • Track suits, football or rugby shirts
  • Shorts other than tailored shorts
  • Golf shoes (except in the designated spike bar area), flip flops or hats (except ladies formal hats)
