Links Golf Club
Links Golf Club, Newmarket is one of the most renowned golf courses in the area and the venue of choice for many County and Regional events. The Links, now in its second century, is an established 18-hole parkland course, situated adjacent to the famous Newmarket Race course. The course is known for its high standard of design and maintenance making it playable throughout the year. Offering a good test of golf for the experienced player; it is also an enjoyable experience for those developing their game.

Toby Crisp is flying the flag for the Links in the British Amateur this week at both Royal Cinque Ports and Prince's. The field comprised of 288 players from 29 countries. Only the best amateurs in the world had the opportunity to enter with the cut off mark averaging +2.3 handicap, with the lowest handicaps being +5. The Championship starts off with all 288 competitors playing 36 holes of strokeplay with the top 64 qualifying for the matchplay stages
